Zig Zag .
That is what the name means.
There is a channel cut in that shape across the rock into which Llama blood was poured each year pre-planting. If the blood emerged left - infertility, right - full crop. The site consists of a series of subterranean passages with religious altars and an amphitheater with 19 niches - occupied by royal mummies - on ritualistic days.
Rhea did her magic again (like she had in Kom Ombo). She wielded the camera and managed to capture the Askis and the Shindes in this loose limbed, un-self-conscious, semi-motional photo. - only 3 photos on that tour that had all four of us.
Viva El Peru says the gigantic inscription in the mountain behind Rhea.
